Hi, I’m Rebekah—photographer, storyteller, and your biggest fan.

Born and raised in the Finger Lakes,

I find inspiration in the everyday beauty of our region and the meaningful connections between people.


Rann Photography isn’t just about photos—it’s about feeling. It’s about capturing your story honestly, joyfully, and with heart. Whether I'm on the dance floor with you or roaming with camera in hand, my goal is always the same:

to create images that feel like you.

My approach is rooted in movement, intimacy, and connection, never stiff or forced. Think less “posed” and more present. At the heart of everything I do is a deep belief in

kindness, creativity, and intimacy.


Love — For self, for others, for the Earth. All love is welcome here.


Creativity — Let’s explore, laugh, climb, cry—whatever makes you feel most you.

How Rann got its name

To know me is to know I’m a runner. From elementary school 5Ks to college track meets, running has shaped my life and my community. Many of my favorite memories are rooted in the running world. From practicing how to do the latest “fast girl” braids to pushing myself alongside teammates, who are more like family.


In 2020, my dear friend Kara Grace lost her life while doing what we loved together. Our running family was forever changed. At the same time, I was stuck in an unhealthy work environment and struggling through the challenges of the pandemic.


With encouragement from loved ones and time to work through my grief, I realized I was letting these experiences define me. Kara’s spirit of wonder and adventure inspired me to look forward. She would never have settled for a toxic job or a life stuck indoors.


Running and Kara are at the heart of my story. As I named my business, I realized ‘Rann’—a blend of Rebekah Ann—beautifully reminds me of how running and Kara’s spirit will always be part of who I am and what I build.

My husband and I reside in the Finger Lakes. We were married in Naples, NY in 2022 and are currently working on building our dream home on family land. He is truly my best friend and one of my biggest supporters. We love checking out local breweries or plan weekend getaways to the ADK.

Behind the scenes

We have two pups, Miyu and Gracie, and two cats, Skriiva and Tony, who joined our family from both sides. They're true frenemies and always keep us entertained.

People often ask if this is my full-time gig. In a way, it is—running a business is a full-time job! But when I’m not shooting or editing, I’m also a full-time educator. I love bringing my skills with little ones and my passion for personalized education into my photography work.
